Elsie Weich - Hibernation throw collection
22 July 2021 to 14 August 2021For this textile exhibition of bold, luxurious theatrical throws artist Elsie Weich, who works daily at the intersection of fine art and design, was inspired by her own impressionistic and cubistic oil paintings.
“The collection exhibits playful visual metaphors that aim to indulge one’s vanity while hibernating through winter, but also brighten one’s surroundings with their high-end decorative style and versatile functionality,” Weich says of her work.
The throws are printed on double layer Mongolian Fleece which gives rise to a heightened sensory indulgence.
