ASSOCIATION OF ARTS PRETORIA

Where art comes alive
Welcome to our Association. This is the prime platform for you to catch up on happenings in the art-world. We get excited by promoting young artists and revelling in the work of more established ones. Our regular exhibitions showcase classic and contemporary pieces, creating a space for the enjoyment of art and a cross-pollination of creative thought. As mavericks, we like to shake things up and break the mould (while having great respect for traditionalists). We exhibit only the finest and often thought-provoking works.

BECOME A MEMBER
Join the Association of Arts - Pretoria as a member today. You don't have to be an art expert or artist - as long as you love the visual arts. Celebrate with us as we blaze trails for new and established artists

/ Recitals & Lectures

Sunday morning recitals

Since 2019, the Association has been hosting Sunday morning music recitals in its gallery, regularly featuring classical concerts. While art galleries as recital venues aren't unusual, at the Association of Arts Pretoria, the experience stands out. The grand piano not only showcases solo performances but also accompanies flautists, cellists, violinists, singers, and others. Both seasoned professionals and promising music students are invited to perform. As guests listen to exceptional music, they are surrounded by stunning visual artwork, creating a rich sensory and emotional environment where various artistic disciplines interact.

Care for your jewellery

A jeweller's creation is assembled with great care and patience mixed with artful inspiration. When it is completed, a jeweller will pass on the piece to be cared for by its intended owner with the hope that it may last forever.
